As you can see here : http://forum.panono.com/forum/techni...sion/7932-tour
The tour is high priority for them as it is a paying feature

It seem that the gps info as it is a free feature has a zero priority for them

You must be joking ... now lat/lng isn't even saved into UPF anymore???? (triggered with App & save Location = true) ... that's just ridiculous ...
Now I have to manually find the Locations of hundreds of Panos shot with our Panonos ...
      #badJoke ...

I have a Samsung S7 and they told me it was one of the "few" devices that did not write the geotag data to the UPF file. So that means that most devices should. Parisien, what device are you using with your panono? I have emailed them for a list of devices that "do" write the geotag data. What a mess without it!!!

The geotags are still in the upf. As written earlier, it is in the manifest.json textfile lately in the beginning of the file: example like this.
            {"defaultSetId":1,"fileType":"UPF","geoTag":{"lati tude":51.489000055378371,"longitude":7.21512556215 20734},
Maybe somebody could retrieve this from the file?

I hope the unsuspecting folks who buy a Panono realize it is a camera that has not had a firmware update in over 3 years, does not provide GPS information in the downloadable EQUI image file which really makes this camera useless. Absolutely useless. I don't have time to go and manually add geotag info to a bunch of 360 photos!!! I realize the company has been purchased and for all practical purposes is a financial failure and probably wont' be around in a year. But could someone at Panono fix the GPS problem. With GPS this would be an awesome camera. Without GPS it is a piece of junk!!

Erm... you realize that there are diffrent usecases? I totally don't care about GPS in the panono files or not. Also Panono now focusses on real estate photography - no need for GPS either.
However if you really need GPS in your pictures, just code a little script to put it in. You can use your phones GPS to fetch the positions and timestamps and just insert this data via a script.

Junk is your comment, not the camera.
